“Do I have to issue e-Invoices yet?” is a question owners now ask an assistant. Here is what decides which tax firms it names — and how to be one before the deadline.
SEO for Tax Agents in Malaysia

What we do for you
Two outcomes. Everything else is method.
Get you listed on the first page of Google
The compliance searches a business runs when a deadline lands or a letter arrives — the event, the form, the deductible — plus the map pack for your own firm name.
Get you recommended by the AI assistants
When someone asks whether a loan from their own director needs transfer pricing documentation, your firm is one of the answers.
How we price
You only pay when it works
We build it, publish it and run it first. You pay on what it actually produces — measured in your own Google and analytics accounts.
- No results, nothing to pay forIf the work produces nothing, there is nothing to bill you for.
- You can check every number yourselfIt all comes from your own Google Search Console and Analytics, in your name. Nothing rests on a report we write.
- Cheaper than one ad clickOne visitor to your new pages costs you less than a single Google Ads click in your industry.
How we do it
One technique does most of the work here. The rest makes it hold.
Programmatic SEO — a page for every event, form and deductible
Your practice is already a dataset: taxpayer types, forms, filing events, expense categories, industries. Cross them and you get hundreds of distinct questions, each with a real answer. We draft them at volume with AI, and your approved tax agent signs off before anything ships.
- Every event as its own pagee-Invoice, transfer pricing, SST registration, an audit letter, an assessment. One page, one event, plainly answered.
- AI drafts, your approved agent signsVolume from the model, tax judgement from the person who holds the approval, before anything publishes.
- Dated to the filing calendarEach page is scheduled to be live and indexed before the season it serves, not during it.

How does a Malaysian tax firm get named by ChatGPT and AI Overviews?
By being the clearest published answer to the compliance question, with your approved people named. Six things decide it:
- 1. Answer the evente-Invoice, transfer pricing, an audit letter, a filing deadline. Those carry the answer box. The vendor search does not.
- 2. Name the approved personThe individual who holds the approval to act, and what it covers. Anonymous firms do not get named back.
- 3. Publish fee ranges as textA range with what moves it. An assistant cannot repeat a contact form, and a contact form loses the enquiry anyway.
- 4. One page per taxpayer typeSdn Bhd, sole proprietor, partnership, LLP, an individual with rental income, an expatriate. Different rules, different pages.
- 5. Answer is this deductibleIn plain text, category by category. It is the most asked and least published question in the market.
- 6. Be early, not thoroughA good page published before the season beats a better page published inside it. Indexing and citation both take weeks.
How to check whether AI already recommends you
- Write down 10 customer questionsThe real ones, with the filters in — taxpayer type, form, expense, industry, deadline.
- Ask ChatGPT and GoogleRecord whether you are named, and whether what it says about you is correct.
- Repeat on a scheduleOne lucky afternoon is not a trend.
- We run this on ourselves80+ questions, every fortnight, archived — including the fortnight our own citations fell from 5 to 1.
The fix list, in the order worth doing it
-
01
Claim the map pack
Correct category, real hours, office photos, services filled in, and an enquiry link that a person actually answers.
-
02
Put numbers on the page
Company filing, personal filing, a transfer pricing file, audit representation. If you do only one thing, do this one.
-
03
Take the two events that carry an AI answer
e-Invoice and transfer pricing. The largest demand and the lowest difficulty in the set, and both show an answer box.
-
04
Start the deductibility library
One expense category at a time, drafted at volume, signed off by the person holding the approval.
We describe the shape of this work rather than quoting a client's numbers, because published results would need that client's permission. On the call we show you our own measurement instead, which is the part you can verify.
The AI side for a tax practice
Getting found is half of it. Here is what we automate once the enquiry arrives — the same team builds both.
- AI chatbot for finance and accountingDocument chasing, filing-status questions, fee quotes and onboarding, answered without a manager reading every message in the week before a deadline.
- WhatsApp AI chatbotAnswers, qualifies and books on the channel your customers already use.
- AI use cases for a tax practiceThe full list of what a tax practice can automate, with worked examples.
- Business automation & AIEverything else we build — quotations, follow-ups, internal knowledge, reporting.
Frequently asked questions
Because the assistant is answering a question, and your site answers a different one. Almost every Malaysian tax firm site is organised by service line — corporate tax, personal tax, advisory — and a service line has nothing an assistant can lift. What gets lifted is a page that states the situation, what the rule requires, and what the business does next. The other common causes are a fee page that says contact us, no named person holding the approval, and a Google Business Profile left on a generic category.
Search rarely replaces a referral here, but it decides what happens after one. The referred business searches your firm name and reads a page or two before the first call, and what they find sets the price expectation before you speak. It also reaches the enquiries a referral never would — the business that has just received a letter it does not understand, at eleven at night. Those go to whoever explained the letter.
On the firm-level searches, usually not, and it is not worth the money to try. On the specific questions, yes, and it is not close. A large firm publishes broad thought-leadership aimed at large clients, so the specific question — this expense category, this taxpayer type, this industry — is almost always unanswered. That is where the volume sits, and the difficulty reflects it: transfer pricing sits at 21, against far harder service-level terms.
Yes, as ranges with the factors that move them. It is one of the largest unclaimed openings in the market. Businesses search the cost of a company filing, a transfer pricing file and audit representation constantly, and almost every Malaysian firm answers with a contact form. An assistant cannot repeat a contact form, so a form removes you from the answer. A published range earns the ranking, earns the citation, and filters out the enquiries you did not want.
The part clients cannot use without you anyway. Explain what a related-party transaction is, which everyday arrangements count — a loan from a director, a management fee between sister companies, stock bought from a group entity — what documentation exists to demonstrate, and what happens if it is asked for and does not exist. None of that lets a director prepare their own file. All of it answers the question they are actually searching, which is whether this applies to them.
Google Business Profile corrections and a published fee page can register within weeks, because you are supplying information that is missing rather than fighting for a contested position. The event pages are governed by your filing calendar: a page published now for a season three months away has time to be indexed, and the same page published in the season does not. Being named by an assistant follows from being the clearest answer available, so we measure it rather than promise a date.
