We comply with the Malaysia Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA).

2. Personal data we collect

We collect personal data you voluntarily provide when you contact us, request a quotation, or engage our services. This may include:

• Phone or WhatsApp number

• Any additional information you choose to share in the body of your message

We also automatically collect limited technical data through Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-7Y2D7QRX9L), including IP address, device type, browser, referrer URL, and pages viewed. This data is processed in aggregate and is not used to identify you personally.

We process personal data for the following purposes:

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use bixtech.co. Google Analytics sets first-party cookies (_ga, _ga_*) that expire after 2 years. You can opt out using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on or by disabling cookies in your browser settings.

We also use a session cookie (Laravel bixtech_session) required for basic site functionality and CSRF protection. This cookie does not track you across sites.

• Hosting and CDN: Cloudflare and our hosting provider (for website delivery and security).
• Email: our transactional email provider (for delivering your enquiry to our team).

• Messaging: Meta Platforms Inc. (WhatsApp), if you choose to contact us via WhatsApp.
• Professional advisors and auditors: when legally required.

Some of these providers are located outside Malaysia. When we transfer personal data overseas, we ensure an adequate level of protection consistent with the PDPA.

We retain personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes set out in this policy. Enquiry and project records are retained for up to 24 months after our last contact with you, unless a longer period is required to comply with legal, tax, or accounting obligations (typically up to 7 years under Malaysian tax law).
